Editing a task

You can edit a project task at any stage when its details, schedule, assignee, budget, or status need to change. There are two ways to find the task:

  • open it directly from the project and task list;
  • find it with filters.

Open and edit a task from the list

  1. Open Projects & Tasks from the top menu. Expand the project that contains the task.
  2. Open the task by clicking its title or use the edit action on the right side of the row.

The available fields include:

  • Title and Type;
  • Status;
  • Start date and Deadline;
  • Estimate — enter weeks, days, hours, and minutes in the supported format, for example 3w 4d 2h 20m;
  • Description;
  • Assignee and Author;
  • Budget, Rate, and Currency. Use the same currency as the project budget.
